The "Zero-Cloud" Promise: SmartKit is an Offline-First application. We do not own, operate, or maintain any cloud servers that store your personal data. Your notes, passwords, and records never leave your physical device.

To keep the service free and improve stability, we use trusted Google services that may collect anonymous identifiers:

2.1 Google Analytics for Firebase

We collect non-personally identifiable information such as app launch frequency, tool usage statistics (e.g., how many times the Calculator was used), and device model information. This helps us prioritize which features to improve.

2.2 Google AdMob

We display ads to support development. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to show relevant ads. You can reset this ID in your Android Settings under "Google > Ads."

3. Device Permissions & Usage

Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO) Used exclusively for the Speech to Text and Voice Command features. Audio is processed on-device or via system APIs and is never recorded or stored.

Camera Used only for the QR & Barcode Scanner. We do not take photos or videos without your direct action.

Storage / Files Required to save PDF Reports and generated QR images to your device so you can share them.

Biometric / Lock Used locally to verify your identity before opening the Private Vault tools.

4. Data Security

All data stored by SmartKit is saved in the app's Private Internal Storage. This storage is sandbox-protected by the Android Operating System, meaning other apps cannot read your SmartKit data. For maximum security, we recommend using the "Privacy Lock" feature within the app settings.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
